Biography / Experience
Stephen has worked in the Financial Services Industry since his “Gap Year” in 1979.
He provides advice in respect of pensions, personal investments and inheritance tax planning to a broad range of High Net Worth individuals and Family clients.
With the flexibility now available through recent Pensions Freedom legislation, Stephen believes now more than ever, independent advice is essential.
Examples Include
Assisting a retired Solicitor to establish an appropriate portfolio of Pension and Personal investment assets to provide a tax efficient source of income, in conjunction with a combination of solutions to minimise the significant impact of Inheritance Tax to safeguard the Family Estate for the Family.
Helping a new Client, with little investment experience to feel comfortable and confident investing a significant inheritance using a combination of tax efficient investment solutions to maximise the potential for investment growth whilst balancing the requirement for Capital preservation.
Advising a Client planning for Early Retirement to make a significant Pension Contribution from Savings using the merits and understanding of Pension Input Periods and Carry Forward rules, effectively reducing their Income Tax liability for the Year to Nil.
Personal Interests
Stephen has a keen interest in music of all styles and genres and has acquired a range of guitars since, self-taught, the “fad” started when he was age 14.
He attends concerts and the theatre regularly and believes Warwick Arts Centre is the perfect venue to see “any comedian worth seeing”.
For relaxation, Stephen enjoys the constant challenge of the family garden and Spotify …. He also admits to being a Baggies fan, married to a Blues fan with their Son a Villa fan (apparently true diversification!!)
