The government has set out the roadmap for our country to return to normality, given the success of the vaccine programme, with the proposed date of 21st June when no social distancing will be required. EWM will of course follow this guidance, and assuming this date is not moved then I am sure we will look forward to meeting up again soon.
The impact of coronavirus necessitated a temporary change to many of our staff working from home. However, this temporary position has now acted as a catalyst for the EWM Board to consider changes in our business model, even when social distancing is no longer required.
An evaluation of the past year has highlighted some key advantages both to the company and to our staff in operating a permanent home/ hybrid working pattern, and this has since been ratified by the Board as the preferred model going forward.
Office Change:
Given the above changes, we also reviewed whether our existing office remained the most suitable working environment.
Having researched the market and attended countless viewings! – I am pleased to announce that EWM are moving to new office premises in the centre of Solihull.
Our new office premises offer all the facilities you would expect, but also provide a more modern office working environment. We are excited that we will be situated within the vibrancy of a town centre location, but also with the picturesque Brueton Park across the road.…. and of course, Touchwood Shopping Centre is in walking distance!
