Eastcote Wealth Management’s offices were filled with the sights and smells of Christmas this week as the staff took part in the annual charity Christmas Bake-Off & Jumper Day. The boardroom table groaned under the weight of the sixteen entries, home-baked by staff members. Christmas offerings ranged from traditional sausage rolls and mince pies to ginger snaps, cheesecake and gala pie. The voting was close but the overall winners were Jonathan Hearn’s cheese & sausage rolls for savoury and Helen Cartwright’s gorgeous sponge cake for sweet.
There was also a best Christmas jumper competition with Ben Brayshay (and Santa) coming out on top, narrowly beating perennial favourite Steve Muligan into second place. And Pam Fones got to play Mrs Santa, handing out the secret santa presents to all the good boys and girs.
Donations, entry fees and the Christmas raffle raised over £200 for EWM’s chosen charity for 2019, Safeline.Well done everyone and thanks for your donations.
